Hello, I'm Sophie
I specialise in helping busy professionals build stress resilience, optimise their energy level and find their optimal weight so they can THRIVE in life.
I created Natura Thrive to help you discover what works for your body so you can feel energised, calm, resilient, bright and good in your skin. We are all unique with specific needs, and what makes one person feel great can be completely different to the next. My aim is to provide support and guidance to help you learn to eat in a way that's right for your health goals but also is sustainable and enjoyable. So everyone gets to enjoy the journey.
What brought me here is my personal story and how I was able to regain energy and vitality in a natural way.
My background is originally in Finance and I always loved the continuous challenge and fast-paced environment until my body gave up. At that time, I had recently moved to London. I was feeding on junk food; I was always rushing everywhere and partying way too much.
This hectic lifestyle had left me run-down and stressed. I felt tired all the time, always reaching out to sugar for energy. My digestion was impaired and so was my mental health. After a while, I realised something needed to change.
I knew some foods didn't agree with me but I was unsure where to start. I found that the information around nutrition and health was confusing and contradictory. So I decided to embark on a new journey into wellbeing and study Naturopathy, Nutritional Therapy & Herbal Medicine for 5 years at the highly-regarded College of Naturopathic Medicine.
I began to realise just how much of our health can be determined by what we put into our bodies. The improvements to my energy levels, sleep, mood and digestion were so profound that I wanted to help others transform their lives.
I have since worked with other busy professionals struggling with stress, low energy, poor sleep, difficulty concentrating, digestive conditions, weight gain... It has been truly rewarding to see the most powerful transformations with my clients.
I have a naturopathic approach incorporating science-based nutritional therapy. I look at the body as a whole and suggest nutritional and lifestyle changes that are personalised to your own constitution, are achievable and fit your preferences and busy lifestyle. So you have the tools to thrive and develop healthier long term habits.
I am a member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP). I am also registered with the Complementary & Healthcare Council (CNHC).
I am continually updating my knowledge and furthering my training in all trained therapies. I live what I have learned. I have overcome many of my own health challenges so what I impart to you is based on real experience, not just knowledge gained from a book or the latest health study.
