Nutritional Therapy

Helping Women Naturally Balance Hormones With Nourishing Foods

Nourishing foods to balance hormones

It’s My Mission to Support Women Experiencing Symptoms like Constant Fatigue, Hormonal Imbalances, Weight Gain, Digestive issues, Infertility.

As a Nutritional Therapist, I help my clients improve their energy, regulate their cycles, shift weight and mood using a functional medicine approach that identifies and addresses the root causes of their symptoms.

I focus on natural solutions by supporting you with the right foods, supplements and lifestyle that aligns with your specific health goals, preferences, and busy lifestyle.

I also guide my clients to deepen their connection with themselves so they can make more informed and intuitive choices about their diet and lifestyle.

Food has a significant impact on our physical function, including cognitive clarity and emotional wellbeing. However, the way different foods affect people can vary widely. Nutritional therapy aims to help you understand which dietary approach best suits your unique needs.

Nutritional therapy Harnesses the Power of Food and Nutrients to Fuel the Body’s Natural Healing, Promoting Lasting Health from the Inside Out.

What is Nutritional Therapy?

Variety of foods to support the microbiome

Nutritional therapy is the application of nutrition science in the promotion of health, peak performance and individual care. I use various clinical tools like detailed case histories, physical examinations, and sometimes specialised tests to identify nutritional imbalances.

This approach helps me to understand how they relate to your health concerns and symptoms.

As a Nutritional Therapist, I was trained to use an  integrated system called Functional Medicine.
I always look for what may have triggered your symptoms in the first place and what may still be driving your symptoms. And there are many causes to one condition.

For example, research has shown that there is a strong link between gut health and mental health. The gut produces more serotonin, a neurotransmitter that regulates mood, than the brain does. Therefore, imbalances in the gut microbiome can contribute to mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression.

My mission is to understand your unique health profile looking at biochemical imbalances, lifestyle and dietary triggers, toxic exposures, gut health, and create personalised strategies to address the factors affecting your health.

It is a whole-body approach to find what caused the imbalance and how we can restore your body's natural balance.

I go beyond simply advising on the right diet. I work with you to create a completely new lifestyle – one that is filled with abundance, and most importantly, manageable, achievable and works for you on every level.

The Journey of Working Together

Vegetables full of nutrients

I designed 3 programmes (add link) to support women in both physical and emotional states of wellbeing and to help with a range of health concerns: weight management, digestive health, fatigue, stress, anxiety, depression, hormonal imbalances, infertility, hair loss.

I recommend working together for at least 12 weeks as health improvements often take time and consistency. You also have to train your brain and body to new habits.

Throughout the 12 weeks, we work together to identify food intolerances, sensitivities, and nutritional needs, making appropriate additions and removals to support your health.

While supplements may play a role in your plan, the primary focus is on optimising your diet through whole foods.

A 12-week package allows for:

  • a more comprehensive exploration of your health concerns

  • regular follow-up consultations to track progress

  • making adjustments to your plan as needed

  • receiving ongoing support and guidance from an expert

It gives you the best chance for lasting results.

The Therapeutic Journey

Fruits to nourish the body and mind

During our first call, we explore together a session frequency that suits you best for optimal results.

1. Health & Energy review

I offer a complimentary 30-minute Health & Energy review, which is a perfect opportunity for us to connect and determine if we’re a good fit for working together. During this call, I’ll listen to your needs and you can ask any questions you have about my services and packages. You can schedule your call here.

2. Booking our first consultation

When you choose to book an initial consultation, we'll coordinate a convenient date, and I'll provide you with a health questionnaire to fill out beforehand. Feel free to share any additional information, such as past test results, to ensure our discussion is as comprehensive and productive as possible.

3. Initial consultation

In our initial 90-minute consultation, we delve deeply into all facets of your health. From your symptoms and dietary habits to your medical history, lifestyle choices, and stress levels, we cover it all. The insights gained from this session inform my clinical decisions, allowing me to craft a personalised nutrition, lifestyle, supplement plan and botanicals tailored specifically to you. You can expect to receive this comprehensive plan within three working days of our consultation.

4. Ongoing support and follow-up consultations

The frequency of our consultations is discussed together during our initial Health & Energy review and determined by the level of support you need - either monthly or fortnightly.

During each follow-up consultation, we review any lab test results together, reflect on your progress with the plan, and discuss any challenges or successes you've experienced. After each session, you'll receive an updated nutrition, lifestyle, supplement plan and botanicals.

Additionally, I'll be available via messages between consultations to provide ongoing support. We continue working together until you feel confident and empowered to maintain your health independently.
